RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 72352

I find it hard to believe that this isn't a dupe, but I couldn't find anything.
Sorry if it is.

I think it's a bit ridiculous that Ctrl-T then Ctrl-W opens a tab and then
doesn't close it. (I think this is because Firebird focuses the address bar
after Ctrl-T.) Similarly, most of the time when I want to view my history, it's
while I'm in the address bar, about to type an URL that I can't quite remember.
It's annoying when I type Ctrl-H and nothing happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Ctrl+H and Ctrl+W wfm in the address bar on WinXP (didn't test other shortcuts).
I guess this is Linux-specific.
I should've been clearer (I don't know if the bug's intent came across the way I
wanted it to).

Ctrl-W and Ctrl-H "work" in the address bar for me on Linux - Ctrl-W deletes the
previous word, Ctrl-H the previous letter. I want them to close the current tab
and open the history sidebar, respectively.
These all WFM in winXP.

The shortcuts don't delete words/letters in the address bar or text fields.
Agree with Jesse that this bug doesn't show in winXP.
We seem to be using emacs keybindings in text areas in the Linux builds. I've
added that to the summary so as to make future searches easier.

Duping against bug 72352 since that bug deals with this issue.
