Details

IMAP move filters wrongly decrement the message counts for the inbox - so your
total message count for the inbox is wrong by the number of messages that have
been filtered out of the inbox. This is because we're using the msg copy service
to do the moves. I thought this was fixed earlier, but it seems to be broken
again.

so this is what I've been seeing!
If your inbox total message count is too low, then yes, this is what you've been
seeing. It's been broken for quite a while now :-( I do have a fix for it, but
I'll probably have to wait for m13 to check it in.
