When i have several tabs open in a window. if one of the tabs times out, then
the vertical scroll bar can not be moved with a mouse on another tab that is
already loaded. I am using a Microsoft intellimouse USB interface on a win98 SE
machine. the machine is a P-3 500 Mhz with 192 MB of RAM. I can however scroll
the window using the mouse wheel. It appears that the mouse will not drag the
bar. This only seems to happen in the window with the timed out tab. Other
windows that are open seem unaffected.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Opened Hotmail account. Then opened Examnotes.com forum from e-mail shortcut.
2.From Examnotes.com opened link in new tab in same window (usually opened at
least two new tabs in addition to main window.
3.Then close one of the tabs, the scroll bar on main window quit functioning
when using mouse
Actual Results:
Scroll bar in main window stops working via mouse click and drag
interface.(wheel still functions)
Expected Results:
I eexpect that mouse click and drag should work. A scroll bar is visible and was
functioning as new tab was loading (i have dial-up connection, slow at times,)
As I mentioned, the mouse wheel still functions. I didn't check to see if arrow
keys would scroll the window. I just installed this build and i am positive taht
this wasn't present in build 1.4. Because I have a dial-up connection, i
frequently open multiple windows to load while browsing other windows. I have
never had an issue like this before.

If you get a modal alert() window, then this is probably bug 213122

No response from the reporter, assuming this is a dup of a now-fixed bug.
