Can you please attach a a crashlog from the crashreporter (using the "create new attachment" link in this bug)
Matti, I don't know what you mean "create new attachment". I don't think I was clear enough. Crash happens not with new message but when opening existing message that has file attached. I tried to get requested info but Talkback didn't open and there is no crashreporter log.

Rhostik, can you please clear the main console (before you crash) and then post what you see in there when you're crashing?
Console reading is: dyld: /Users/ianc/Documents/Downloads/Applications/Mozilla 1.5.app/Contents/MacOS/mozilla-bin Undefined symbols: /Users/ianc/Documents/Downloads/Applications/Mozilla 1.5.app/Contents/MacOS/components/libimgicon.dylib undefined reference to _ReleaseIconRef expected to be defined in ApplicationServices

This is probably a OS 10.1.5-only issue. Either related to or a dupe of bug 213639. Been asking what to do with this since the summary of bug 213639 doesn't really fits with this bug...

I'm getting a crash in 1.5rc2 that appears to be similar to this bug. If a msg has an attachment and you click on the attachement icon in the preview pane Mozilla crashes. This was occuring in the prior beta versions of 1.5 but not in 1.4. I am using OS X 10.1.5. Crash log below: *** malloc[333]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x1d070; This could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug dyld: /Applications/Mozilla1.5rc2.app/Contents/MacOS/mozilla-bin Undefined symbols: /Applications/Mozilla1.5rc2.app/Contents/MacOS/components/libimgicon.dylib undefined reference to _ReleaseIconRef expected to be defined in ApplicationServices

scott field reported that with 1.6a build 20030930, he has no problem. I think that means we can verify this bug. (thanks for the fix, bryner)
