User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 after normal browsing, using multiple tabs, closing firebird results in the crash of ddhelp.exe, which makes it very inconvenient to switch display resolutions or activate/deactivate secondary displays. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.run firebird, browsing normally 2.leave idle for a few hours (1-10, not sure exactly how long yet) 3.close firebird Actual Results: ddhelp crahsed with the above listed GPF, unsure as yet if running TaskInfo2000 and mIRC at the same time as firebird was causing the problem, could also be affected by ATI display driver "Display control panel" component ATIPTAXX.exe Win98 SE, Duron 1.2Ghz, 512MB DDR, Sapphire Radeon 9200 AGP, ECS K7S5A mainboard
Not just Firebird. Using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030808. Same behaviour. Also using an ATI card running Catalyst 3.4 drivers, DirectX 8.1. Behaviour is erratic and cannot be reproduced at will, but generally running beyond an hour with at least one open window will do it.
Is this still happening with a current nightly build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/nightly/latest-trunk and a fresh profile?
