User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.1; Linux) Build Identifier: I installed Thunderbird, started it, had a short look in my Inbox (IMAP), changed Folder and then back to the Inbox - buff - there were no Messages anymore. The first Mail-Tool, that deleted all my Mails without asking my! just sick, just sucks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: check thunderbird preferences before releasing!
was it marked as junk and mvoed to your junk folder?

Was "View/Messages or Threads" set to only displsy "Unread"?
maybe you have set the wrong option in View-->Mails--> ...
