What are your image preferences set to? Are you allowing all images, or only images from the same server? Are you running any ad-blocking software or using ad-blocking stylesheets?
Also does not work on http://news.bbc.co.uk and numerous other sites. Occurs randomly as well on some pages - occasionally doing a refresh will resolve it.

worksforme with 2004041608 mozilla 1.7 branch build on windows XP. all images at dell.com load up fine and rather quickly too :-)
