User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 When I update my mozilla to 1.4 it didn't load any Java Plug-In anymore (I tried with Java versions 1.3.1, 1.4.0, 1.4.1; all from sun, but it doesn't report any problem or error. Today I update my J2SK to version 1.4.2_01 and update to the newest plug-in but it just crash immediately. If I remove the plug-in it worrks fine. I have also installed Acrobat, MozPlugger 1.1.1, ShockWave Flash 6.0r79. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy or softlink Java Plug-In from any version to Mozilla plug-in folder. 2. Start mozilla. 3. if previous to 1.4.2 J2SDK doesn't load the plug-in else crashes Actual Results: The same Expected Results: Load normally? Mandrake Linux 9.1 Java 2 SDK Sun 1.4.2_01
Have you correctly symlined the JRE1.4.2 plugin from the gcc3.2 directory ? Do you read the help from plugindoc ? (second link in help/about:plugins)
