fwiw the only plugin loaded according to process explorer is the null plugin.
nssckbi.dll comes from a 6/10-08 build.
i had used mail and addressbook was loaded.
the process is using 220mb of ram (210mb of vm), which is relatively low for my
system (there nearly 1gb of vm available so this isn't an oom condition). 359
handles, 14 threads, 164 user objects, 345 gdi objects - all relatively low.

oh and of course it doesn't crash if i just follow the steps listed :(.

life limit: 3months. kill bug if nothing similar appears 3 months after the last
comment in this bug.
