I use Telia as my internet service provider and I have to type my password in
the account settings but there is no place to do so in Mozilla. So I have to use
OutlookExpress or Pegasus Mail but I want to use Mozilla for the job but it is
not possible due to the lack of password settings.

The password should asked when you check your account for new messages.
There you have an options to save it.

How should this block Mozilla development ?
Mozilla aks your for a pssword if the server wants it (and you can store it).
-> invalid
