In the page at http://msdn.microsoft.com/developercenters/, the selectbox on the
left hand side should run flush with the rest of the elements, as in IE. There
is too much padding on the right hand side. This is annoying.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a <select size=1> element, add some <options>
2. Gasp in astonishment as you witness first hand that the selectbox is too damn
wide!
Actual Results:
Broke down in tears and sobbed for the better part of an hour.
Expected Results:
Not padded the right hand side so damn much.

> as in IE
Mozilla gets sent the following source by the site:
<input STYLE="font-size:10px;width:150" TYPE="TEXT" id="qu2" name="qu"
SIZE="12" MAXLENGTH="255" VALUE="" />
<select name="sltSearchList" STYLE="font-size:10px;width:75%" >
Whereas IE gets sent:
<INPUT STYLE="font-family:verdana;font-size:11px;height:18px;width:165;"
TYPE="TEXT" id="qu2" name="qu" SIZE="20" MAXLENGTH="255" VALUE="" />
<select name="sltSearchList"
STYLE="font-family:tahoma;font-size:11px;height:18px;width:138" >
Note the different width settings for both form controls.
Marking invalid; this is so not a Mozilla bug.
Please look at the page source before gasping, breaking down, sobbing, and
cursing next time, ok? ;)
