There's a new browser called iRider and it has a really interesting new concept
of visual tabs. It's difficult to describe, just check out the flash demo at the
mentioned URL. Looks like the next innovation in browsing to me and it would
certainly fit into Firebird's UI paradigm

I wonder if this can be implemented horizontally, sacrificing hierarchy; OR
with hierarchy and WinXP-like  taskbar grouping.
Another thing to note is that the thumbnails can be changed in size.

also maybe change summary to:

We should do some better things with grouping, but true hierarchies are visually complex and of dubious value.
