"Copy" and "Copy Link Location" in Mozilla Firebird often does not copy the
selected text/url on the first click. The second time it works.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Click "copy" or "copy link location" in the context menu.
Actual Results:  
Nothing when I tried to paste unless I copied it a second time.

Expected Results:  
Copied it the first time.

Windows XP Pro SP1 /w Indie LiteStep 0.24.6(Build 2003.02.09) shell.

the fact that this is only reproduceable sometimes means that it's probably not
to do with the implementation of Firebird's menu, but some other factor. Have
you ever experienced this behaviour on another machine?

This works for me with the 2003-09-24 build on Windows 2000.

Your build is already rather old (nearly two months) and a lot has happened since 
then regarding firebird development. Please read 
http://texturizer.net/firebird/bugs.html before reporting any bugs.

I'm resolving this as WORKSFORME. Please reopen this bug, if you still see this 
with a current nightly build, a fresh profile and without any additional themes or 
extensions. Thank you.

Using the latest build as of 2003.09.30 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20030929 Firebird/0.7+) and a new profile I still
encounter this problem.

I have this problem both on stable FF on my laptop, and on Nightly on my work machine.
Copy Link Location sometimes behaves like I didn't click it, clipboard stays with old content. By the way, sometimes, when doing something in a hurry, this may lead to disastrous results. :/

(in both cases the OS is latest macOS, but I remember having this bug on previous 1 or 2 major versions of OS X).
Also, if I didn't lost my mind yet, I think sometimes it needs even 3 tries.

I also noticed that drag-and-drop of URLs never fails, unlike "Copy Link Location" context menu item, although they both have similar end result (URL location is copied somewhere)
