Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624

The Card preview subwindow jitters, that means is flickering whenever I select
the Personal Address Book. This happens only in the Personal Address Book. Also
present in my Address Book are the following books: Outlook Express Address Book
(some 20 entries) and Collected Adresses (empty).
There is no difference in the behaviour whatever Address I select. Only if I
change the Address book, the flickering stopps.

I just fixed the problem by dragging the window divider up and down. Still there
seems to be a case when the card preview window flickers. Perhaps some issue
with default parameters?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Adress Book
2. Click on Personal Adress Book
3.

Actual Results:
Flickering of Card preview window

Expected Results:
Steady display of Card preview window

The reported wrong behaviour could be fixed by moving the window devider between
the Adresses window and the preview window (horizontal devider)

Please retry a current nightly, a similar bug for mail has been fixed, also
fixing other bugs seen in PageInfo and maybe elsewhere.
imho 1.4.1 is stable, try this one, or wait for release:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/2003-09-17-13-1.4.1/
more info about 1.4.1: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/004083.html
Upgrading to 1.5 has the UI advantage, that loading a group of tabs will
automatically close all existing tabs, if you like this, or not.

inactivity - duping. Reporter, see bug 201379 comment 39 for a useful testcase
of this effect. If you can reproduce this bug in a recent build, please reopen.
