Sorry that I didn't fully analyze the conditions for the bug. If a <a
name="whatever"/> is placed before the <ul>, then there are problems. Please see
the example.

you never closed your <a
name="whatever"/> tag... in HTML (as opposed to xhtml), you can't close a tag
with />.
