Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1

I came upon this bug haphazardly. See steps to reproduce. This results in an
Alert error:

FAILED TO OPEN A BOOKMARK:

2147500035

And all open tabs disappear.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a page that opens a pop-up window, in its own window (not in a tab)
2. Close all other Firebird windows except the pop-up window.
3. Start a new session of Firebird and attempt to middle-click on a link or
bookmark to open that link in a new tab.

Actual Results:
FAILED TO OPEN A BOOKMARK:

2147500035

And all open tabs disappear.

Expected Results:
Opened a new tab.

I do have the "Tabbrowser Extensions" extension installed, so this may or may
not be the culprit, further testing will have to be done.

can you provide a URL where this happens?
I don't understand what you mean by step 1.

using Asa's comments as the test, I closed all the FireFox windows but Asa's
comment window, then double clicked on the FireFox exe to get a new window, I
was able to open links using middle click

I believe this was a bug with the Tab Preferences or Extensions extension.
Haven't seen it in Firefox 0.8. Feel free to close.
