User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030916 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030916 One must have at least a mail server and a news server configured for this to occur. I have the curtain down on my Mail/News Mozilla client, and the "open message in new window" option set. If reading a newsgroup, and using the N hotkey to go to the next new message, this can fail if one goes back to the Mail/News client, clicks the email server, opens a message, and then returns to the message from the news server. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Close the curtain in the mail/news window, and set the option to open messages in a new window. 2. Read a newsgroup, using the N key to go to the next unread message 3. With a news message window open, return to the Mail/News window, select a mail server, double click a message (which opens a window), and read it. 4. Leave the mail message window open. Return to the news message window. 5. Hit N. Hit N some more. I actually see the title of this window change, but it does not load new messages, nor does it reduce the new message count in the server window. Actual Results: Unread messages do not show in the message window. If you select the newsgroup for the server from which the current message in the message window came from, hitting N will take you to the next undread, but because you hit N a few times, there are some unread messages before the current one you now see. Expected Results: I'd expect that hitting N in a message window would show the next message in that context
Also, it appears that once all the messages are read in the current group, you get prompted to move to the next group. Yet hitting OK from the dialog that shows does nothing, and keeps the current message there. This situation may only appear once the above steps occur, as this is the first time I've been able to replicatate the brokenness of reading the next unread message and the lack of going to the next newsgroup with unread messages, despite the client indicating you'll be going there.
