I have an IMAP account with many folders. Thunderbird doesn't download them,
except for Inbox. I'm using Thunderbird 0.3a
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Expected Results:
I should see all folders and their contents.

I see the same. I can access all the folders and their contents with Evolution,
Columba, gnus, Mozilla Mail or any other MUA, but Thunderbird randomly
ignores/hides the contents of some folders. The only folder the contents of
which are always fully visible is INBOX.
Downloading IMAP folders for offline use seems to be completely broken, alas.

I'd like to add that this occurs even though I've subscribed to these folders.
Furthermore it's probably worthwhile noting that my provider uses
Courier imapd
Please see my bug report 230055. This might be related to be the same bug. If
so, you'll find the solution in my bug report.
Perhaps this is related to TB not getting the list of folders when using courier
mail server and setting the server root to INBOX/.
If the server root is empty, then all folders appear under INBOX and I always
see all folders.
