Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030916
Whenever a dial-up connection disconnects, mozilla uses near 99% cpu usage.
This tends to occur with the main Navigator open or with just the quick-start
system running!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla at bootup in quickstart
2. Connect a regular dialup connection to the internet
3. Let the dialup connection timeout, or disconnect it yourself.
4. Look at task manager (if your computer doesn't lock up here) at
extraordinarly high cpu usage by mozilla.exe
Actual Results:
Mozilla's cpu usage was fluctuating between 99% and 90% on a P4 1.8 ghz
Expected Results:
not used so much cpu
Using default theme
XP Pro
Running Zone Alarm Pro

Does the same happen if ZoneAlarm is not running?
Kevin, are you still seeing problems with Mozilla jumping to 99% cpu usage when
your connection drops in a more recent version of Mozilla? If so, does it also
happen when ZoneAlarm is not running, as Boris asked? Thanks for any new
information.
Works for me now on 1.6, I haven't had that annoying cpu usage, but I've also
stopped using ZoneAlarm, so who knows... If noone else is experiancing it, just
close the bug up..
