User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 This problem was tested on Netscape 7.1 and Mozilla 1.4 and 1.5 RC2 under multiple platforms (Linux: Mandrake 9.1 and RedHat 9.0 / Windows: 2000 and XP / Mac OS X) I describe it in detail (with screenshots) at http://www.cabbagestew.com/bugzilla Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla (1.4 or 1.5RC2) or Netscape (7.1). 2. Create a new Composer page. 3. Type some text. 4. Highlight text you want to link to a file. 5. Click on the Link button. 6. Browse to the file you want to link and then link (notice that you cannot make the file relative to your web page) 7. Publish your page (notice that the file you want to upload does not publish) 8. View your page to see that the true file path sticks. Actual Results: You cannot open/download the linked file (see http://www.cabbagestew.com/bugzilla/test-bug.html) Expected Results: You will be able to open/download the linked file. I have reported this (Bug # 216326), but nothing has been done about it. I think this is a very annoying problem that must be resolved ASAP.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
