I know I've seen a similar report in the past but can't find now. :/ Non-activeX bug reports: bug 167784, bug 42224.

This is no ActiveX Webcam and Mozilla doesn't support ActiveX. -> Imagelib (could be also Cache) and confirming with win2k build 20030930

I found a problem almost exactly like this. I opened a mms stream in FireFox PR1 with http instead of mms ( I was trying to test if it stream was working. ) the download manager popped up and tried to strat downloading the active stream (In this case, it was off a streamsicle 2.0 mp3 audio steam of 192kps mp3s (in other words, lots of data that wasn't going to stop anytime soon . . . ) I canceled the download (or so i thought), and closed that instance on FireFox. Still had one instance open. At least one instance of FireFox was open, Streamsicle server showed the extra connection active. As soon as i closed all instances on FireFox, that connection finally dropped. I basically looking at the same setup as the bug reporter. Win 2K, etc. only difference was that it was an audio stream. This could actually be a more generic bug then just an ImageLib. If you need more specifics on how to fully reproduce this (like how the streamsicle server was set up, etc), feel free to email me.
