The link to www.mozillafoundation.org on www.mozilla.org is broken since the former is unreachable. I guess it's related to the transition from AOL but still.
Has nothing to do with the functionality of the browser application. Not a "bug".

Jay: this is not a browser bug, it's a Server Operations bug. Please check the product before you randomly close a bug. This bug is in the correct place, and is a valid bug.

That's what I said in essence, not a browser bug, re-read what I posted. If it's not a browser bug then why enter it as one??? I'm off to IE bug reporting now as it doesn't work there either ... ;-) So, educate me then. What you're alluding to is that for EVERY site that isn't reachable we should report it as a bug here? IMHO this should be reported to the domain tech contact, not entered as a "bug".
Mistake = I said it was entered as a browser bug, it wasn't. :-(
This *is* the domain tech contact. The domain is controlled by the Mozilla Foundation. This Bugzilla installation is for reporting bugs in lots of things besides the Mozilla browser. There is a "mozilla.org" product (which this bug is filed in) which is for reporting problems with mozilla.org itself, and the Server Operations component (which this bug is filed in) is where problems with the servers go. You wouldn't do this with just any domain, you only report it here if it's a domain owned or controlled by the Mozilla Foundation
I understand. Things have changed. Thanks
> Things have changed No. It has always been possible to file a bug in bugzilla.mozilla.org about the servers of mozilla.org or about our webtools. Those bugs were **not** related to the browser, but related to Mozilla.org daily operations. Things have not changed. You just never noticed that Bugzilla bugs also applied to non-browser bugs, that's different.
This is now fixed. DNS was corrected last night.

and I see it's now redirecting to mozilla.org rather than displaying the same pages under the foundation domain, which is good for caches, search engines and not confusing users...
