There are no differences in case. If I copy/paste this letter from another application all works fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Solaris 2. Install Mozilla (Netscape 6,7) 3. log into system whith LC_ALL=ru_RU.ISO8859-5 4. use compose new mail 5. in a body of message press key ';' or SHIFT+';' 6. You will see that key returned the same as key 'u' 7. enjoy! Actual Results: this bug Expected Results: print symbol zhe }|{

Serge, you don't have any problem entering Cyrillic letter Zhe in other applications (e.g. dtterm) on Solaris, do you? What if you log on with 'ru_RU.UTF-8' or 'ru_RU.KOI8-R' locale?

Yes, all solaris application works well, even a staroffice :) Please take a glance to the following table, which shows working status of letter zhe in a different Solaris Russian Locales: locale works? ru_RU.ANSI1251 yes ru_RU.ISO8859-5 no ru_RU.KOI8-R yes ru_RU.UTF-8 no
