220971 - some pages don't fully load in nightlies after 0.7

alot of pages i go to are not fully loading. on The Register, firebird only
loads the top banner and the search bar on the left, and then won't load
anything else.
this also happens on the apple site (only loads the tabs on the top) and a few
others. i see doubleclick.net or a###.e.akamai.net in the status bar sometimes
when this happens sometimes too. this didnt happen in 0.6 or 0.6.1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to the site
2. watch it not load
3.

Actual Results:  
site didnt load.

Expected Results:  
finished loading the whole page.

Reporter how's your Firebird setting for popup-blocking? And aren't you behind
cache server or firewall?

Sounds like bug 219150.  Have you set up a hosts file or installed Kazaa Lite? 
Can you load http://ad.doubleclick.net/ ?

You seem to be using WinXP.  In WinXP, the hosts file is at
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS .
