User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Sometime an URL displayed somewhere is splitted into several lines. When you copy and paste it into Firebird's URL bar only the first line comes in. Instead, Firebird should automatically removes the line ends (andeventual white spaces) to "restore" the original URL. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find (or type in Notepad) an URL that is splitted into several lines. 2. Copy the lines 3. Paste into Firebird's URL bar Actual Results: Only the first line appears in the URL bar. Expected Results: Firebird automatically "restores" the URL. In further consideration, the processing of text pasted into the URL can be enhanced even to recognize both single URL splitted over multiple lines and multiple URLs on multiple lines (recognizable on multiple "http://") to open all the pasted URLs in different tabs/windows.
This discussion has been/is being had in bug 23485. I'm pretty sure this is a dupe, but if you think it's not then reopen and mark this as depends on bug 23485. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 23485 ***
