User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624
The Mail Preview Pane shows *EVERY* header in the message, not just the limited
set that "should" be shown (Subject, From, To, Date, etc). This includes the
entire "Received" path, the X-Mozilla headers, the MIME-Version... EVERYTHING.
(Note: this only happens with the little expand arrow button turned "down" --
when it is "up" it shows a single-line summary with Subject, From, and Date)
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
(Haven't tried to reproduce the *START* of the problem, but the *SYMPTOMS*
happen every time -- permanently)
This problem ensued when I moved from one machine to another. I am using
Mozilla on a system that has roaming profiles, and when moving to a new machine,
I let roaming profiles copy down my Mozilla profile (standard location in
Documents and Settings), then re-installed Mozilla and it picked up my old
profile (same version of Mozilla both times -- 1.4). Perhaps this had something
to do with the problem?
Actual Results:
As stated in the details, *ALL* headers in the message are displayed in the gray
bar of the Preview pane that should only contain the Subject, From, To, and Date.
Expected Results:
(see above descriptions)
(Note: classified as "Normal", because the "expanded" view of the headers cannot
be used -- with all headers showing it typically takes up all available space,
leaving no room for the message to display. Except for this, I would otherwise
classify it as Minor.)

This shows a good example of the display -- you can see that *ALL* headers are
dispayed, creating a huge header area.

What's your setting for the menu: View | Headers >> Normal, or All ?

Sigh. That would be it -- somehow that got tweaked by the
profile-copy/re-install cycle. I spent a lot of time trying to find such an
option, but missed it in the menus. Thanks!
