User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 If you change the .msf-files under Windows to read-only then Mozilla-Mail doesn't show any of your mails but the mail-folders are still visible. It would be nice if Mozilla-Mail could show an alert-box with a warning or a hint, because it was a great shock as I thought my mails are gone. Thank you in advance, Frank Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to the folder where the mails are stored 2. change one or many .msf-files to read-only under Windows 3. start Mozilla-Mail and see no mails any more Actual Results: No data lost but you can't see the mails in the folder. Expected Results: Give me a warning that the .msf-file is read-only and I have to change it back to see my mails again.
if you fx readonly the INBOX.msf file the INBOX folder as just shown as empty. I'm seeing alot of morkBool_kFalse assertions because of this. not really sure what we can/should do? Reporter: can you find out what other program does? Anyways this issue is very minor but it's a good bug since it's nice that's it documented. ###!!!
