User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030827 If you don't have some specific plugin installed (and a website uses it in every page) Mozilla continues to popup the "missing / install plugin window". I'd like to be able to block this popup window from opening in some way (eg. config) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I highly doubt this will be done, as the popup's intent is to inform the user a plugin isn't found. It's important, or else bugzilla would be flooded with "What's that strange image on my webpage"... or "Why won't this play" bugs.
