Updated with cvs this morning, built a Linux trunk (clobber build) and get this
at startup:

###!!! ASSERTION: HTTP cannot send practical requests without this much:
'!mAppName.IsEmpty() && !mAppVersion.IsEmpty() && !mPlatform.IsEmpty() &&
!mSecurity.IsEmpty() && !mOscpu.IsEmpty()', file nsHttpHandler.cpp, line 522
Break: at file nsHttpHandler.cpp, line 522
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Expected a version > 5! Version = 0

System error?:: Interrupted system call

Program exited with code 0377.

No program left so no stack. I've never seen an interrupted system call before.

That INTERNAL ERROR thing is probably coming from the java plugin but it's the
right plugin for the compiler (gcc 3.3.1).

I just did a cvs update and a depend build and it still crashes the same way.

Ok, remove the java plugin and it doesn't crash so maybe there's another bug
here. Still get the assertion but it seems to work, so far.
caused by bug 209532 which also has a possible fix
