User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925

Gave customer windows version to replace IE6. He found problem

Same problem on Moz 1.5 and Moz 1.5 RC2

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to web page
2.
3.

Actual Results:
As described

Expected Results:
Whatever IE does (As I only use moz 1.4+ I dont know)

I assume menu chioces should be visible, not obliterayed

Same problems Windows and Linux Alpha releases
URL-field above must start with http://, corrected.

The first link I saw looking at the source-code was:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/personal/style/ns4.css" />
http://www.commbank.com.au/personal/style/ns4.css

So it seems they are doing serverside browser sniffing, and seeing Netscape they
are assuming you are using Netscape 4.
Didn´t look any further.
page does not use CTL, it's a normal english page.

actually, MSIE gets a different version of the page than mozilla.
when mozilla gets the msie version, the page renders fine.

If you spoof your ua to NS7.1 or NS 6.x the page works. They are doing server
side sniffing an looking for Netscape in the ua string. All they need to do is
sniff for "Gecko/" in the ua string and it will work in all Gecko browsers. See
http://devedge.netscape.com/viewsource/2002/browser-detection/ for details on
the philosophy of browser detection.

Bill can you contact them?
