Operating W2KPRO on DELL Inspiron 4000.  Just loaded Mozilla, operating on dialup.
Start Menu program icons temporarily disappeared, later (5 minutes), blue
screen-o-death [no text] and all icons return.

If you could clarify, when you say blue screen-o-death, do you mean that the
system crashed and had to be restarted or that the screen was showing on only
the default blue and no icons for a period of time and the icons returned on
their own?

Hi Byron. Have you seen this problem come back again? If not, I would guess this
was something of a "freak accident" with Windows rather than a bug in Mozilla,
judging by the fact that you saw the BSOD shortly afterward. It's very hard for
a program to get Win2000 to BSOD, it's usually a sign of a failed driver or
piece of hardware. Thanks for any additional information.
