Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031009 Firebird/0.7+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (000000000; 0; 000 000 00 0 000000; 00000; 0000000) Gecko/20031009 Firebird/0.7+ Firebird won't open up a message window in default email client when I click on a hotlink (email address) from current Firbird window or when I click on a hotlink in text (URL) of Thunderbird (0.3 RC2) It opens up an error notice in both situations. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.In Thunderbird, click on hotlink in email text (URL) 2. 3. 1.In Firebird, click on hotlink in URL text (email address) Actual Results: In both cases, the helper app. will not open. Both cases give me the same warning notice. Warning notice window is then hard to close. I must click the close button repeatedly. Expected Results: !. In Thunderbird, when I click on a hotlink (URL) in text it should open up default helper app. Firebird window to that URL. 2. In Firebird, when I click on a hotlink (email address) it should open up my default helper app. Thunderbird in a message window with the email address in the "To:" field. This same problem happened in the old 0.6.1 milestone version of Firebird. When I use Camino or Mozilla 1.5 as my default browser, it will open up the window of the helper app (either the browser or email client) when I click on a hotlink, so I assume the problem is in Firebird. Here is the warning notice that I get in both cases: Error launching browser window: TypeError: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/appshell/component/browser/instance;'] has no properties
