I love not having a popup message when I get a url wrong, but disabling the
popup message brings up another problem. Whenever an address is typed in the
address bar that doesnt exist, such as: www.sitedontexist.com, Mozilla displays
its "address not found" error. Along with displaying this, it also changes the
address line to:
chrome://global/content/netError.xhtml?e=dnsNotFound&u=http%3A//www.sitedontexist.com/&d=www.
sitedontexist.com%20could%20not%20be%20found.%20Please%20check%20the%20name%20and%20
try%20again.

I would just like to suggest that the address bar should be left alone, but
still display the address not found message. This may not seem like a big deal,
but if you miss one letter while typing a URL, rather than just going back and
adding that letter, you would have to type the whole thing again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to a site that doesnt exist
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Long URL of unneccesary information

Expected Results:
Left the URL alone yet still displayed the message
