Sometimes it clears after clicking the mouse. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. enter text 2. 3. Actual Results: Irregularly but reliably, the text entry stops. Expected Results: Allowed text entry to continue. I was using the gtk2-xft enabled binary available at the ftp site.
