Imagine mails moved to the junk mail folder. I want to get rid of them when they
have been in the junk mail folder for a specific period of time. If I move them
to another folder and then back to the junk mail folder (or any other folder
which has this option enabled), the time count should restart.
Reproducible: Always

Could be implemented as an additional mail folder option (mail folder properties
dialog).

Tools... Junk Mail Controls... Automatically delete junk messages older than []
days from this folder
That it?

This can also be done globally using message rules.

Using message rules for such a task is not nice. The junk mail thing is not
applicable to other folders.

Yeah, but you just mentionned junk mail folders.
You want this 'delete after X days' to work on any folder??

It's actually very easy to do with message rules:
______________________________________________________
|Age in days | Is greater than | # |
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
(...)

[x] Delete the message
_____________________________________________________
And that's it.

As far as I oversse it, that is a method that must be run manually. I want them
to be deleted (maybe after archiving) automatically.
