User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030925 German MS mail clients tend to add "AW:" instead of "Re:" ("AW" = "Antwort" = "answer") when replying. Mozilla Mail creates "Re: AW: ..." on a re-reply. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive a reply mail with "AW: ..." from a German MS mail client user. 2. Reply with Mozilla Mail. 3. See the "Re: AW: ..." subject. Actual Results: Nothing really unusual: As this is going on through re-replys and re-re-replys, this produces ugly growing "Re: AW: AW: AW: AW: ..." subject lines. Expected Results: It would really help to simply remove the "AW:" (which stands for "Re:" in some oftenly used mail clients) instead of adding "Re:" in front of it. I'm not sure whether this problem is just obvious in Germany or in other countries as well. Perhaps there should be some kind of general purpose solution, handling many different "reply-tags" like "Re:", "AW:", ...
