User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1) Opera 7.21 [de] Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Taskmanager suggests to end up Mozilla and its download manager together, and while system runs, as well when not starting Tastmanager, very slow, file is downloaded. A lot of resources are used, nearly nothing can be runned or better installed with well performance. Especially with larger files like Openoffice Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to openoffice.org, download Openoffice 2. Download manager starts, then suddenly system is very slow 3. press "Ctrg-Alt-Del", klick at "Taskmanager" 4. Taskmanager suggests to end up Mozilla 5. wait. 6. try to install another program. 7. You see system is not usuable. Actual Results: instable or unusuable system Expected Results: Downloading large file without problems, like in 1.4.1, and being able to work or insall programs Currently not testet unter Windows 2000, computer hardware would be different...
Don't know it would or is the same under Win 2000 Professional.
I am running Windows XP SP1 and have followed the steps to reproduce this bug. I experience no problems whatsoever. Mozilla CPU uasage sits between 1% and 2% and an ordinary amount of memory is used for my machine. (Using Mozilla 1.5) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007

WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050402 on Windows 2000 SP4 and XP SP2. No problem like reported in this report. Thilo Straub, is this a problem with a current build/release ?
No, I currently don't have that problem under de SP4-Win 2000 or SP1/2-Win XP... Regards, Thilo
