Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007
Taskmanager suggests to end up Mozilla and its download manager together, and
while system runs, as well when not starting Tastmanager, very slow, file is
downloaded.
A lot of resources are used, nearly nothing can be runned or better installed
with well performance.
Especially with larger files like Openoffice
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to openoffice.org, download Openoffice
2. Download manager starts, then suddenly system is very slow
3. press "Ctrg-Alt-Del", klick at "Taskmanager"
4. Taskmanager suggests to end up Mozilla
5. wait.
6. try to install another program.
7. You see system is not usuable.
Actual Results:
instable or unusuable system
Expected Results:
Downloading large file without problems, like in 1.4.1, and being able to work
or insall programs
Currently not testet unter Windows 2000, computer hardware would be different...

I am running Windows XP SP1 and have followed the steps to reproduce this bug. I
experience no problems whatsoever. Mozilla CPU uasage sits between 1% and 2% and
an ordinary amount of memory is used for my machine.

Thilo Straub, is this a problem with a current build/release ?
