User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Sometimes after hitting the "submit" button on slashdot to enter a comment, firebird crashes. Quickly and silently. The comment is usually entered ok, so it looks like it is in the "load next page" part of the process. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to slashdot. 2. submit a comment on a story 3. hit submit (the crash has not happened for me as yet on "preview") 4. Gaze wistfully at the blank spot on the screen where firebird used to be Actual Results: Crash. Expected Results: Display the "you've submitted a comment..." page. This has only happened to me on firebird 0.7. I have the tabbed browsing extensions loaded as well as radial context, but this does not happen when switching tabs or in the RC menu.
if you try on a clean profile (no extensions installed) does anything different happen? TBE is notorious for causing strange behaviour on random sites, at least every other day some strange crash reported on the forums turns out to be a TBE bug.
