User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 on the laptop mouse pad (i'm running sony vaio) when you do a shortcut to go to the previous page, it works fine... when you do the short cut to go foward one page it still goes to the previous page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. just use the foward page shortcut on the pad 2. 3. Actual Results: instead of going forward, it goes back. Expected Results: go to the next page
Can you go forward in IE? This sounds to me like more of a problem with your vaio's touchpad software than anything else. The Back button gesture in the touchpad software is usually written just to work with IE. Also, this looks like a duplicate of bug 211669.
Please read duplicate bug 36877. Can someone close this bug as a duplicate? I can't because I don't have the privledges yet :(.
But it shouldn’t be a problem. If IE can recognize the command and function based on that, then so should mozilla. Hence the universal compatibility.
Can you try using the latest version of firebird and see if that fixes the problem. Also, have you had a look at bug 36877? I won't mark this bug as a duplicate yet as they do differ slightly. BTW - Got my privledges - lol :D
