User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Password manager does not popup. I've contacted and spoken with the Chase developers, but they claim they are not doing anything to prevent the password manager from working. I have wallet.crypto.autocompleteoverride set to true and did not find autcomplete=off on the page. Note: this also fails in Firebird .7 and failed in older releases of Mozilla back to pre 1.0 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load page 2.Enter any user id and password 3.Click the login button Actual Results: No password manager Expected Results: Password manager should open

I don't think this is mozilla's fault. Take a look at the code; they've got one <form> for each <input>, and use some psycho javascript for evaluating the form. They also have a pair of <html></html> tags before the actual <html><webpage></html> appears. Recommend -> Evang.

I think this should really be a dup of bug 138854, which is still open and covers some chase.com issues. Chase isn't very Mozilla friendly in the past. It apparantly (from reading that bug) has improved, but isn't quite there. Password Manager can only do so much with reason. This may be an intentional effort by Chase to prevent passwords from being stored (For security reasons). Perhaps not a bad idea. In any regard, this is almost definately an evangelism bug. IMHO bug 138854, but I'll let someone else decide.

It looks like this site has been thoroughly redesigned; there's definitely an "autocomplete=off" in the source now. I'm going to mark this FIXED since it's pretty clear there was some busted page code at one point and there isn't anywhere near as much busted code now.
