Images has already been reported in bug 223142.

WFM 1.5 Linux.
Do you see an error message as in bug 223142?
Depends on: 223142

No, I don't see any error message. When selecting "save as..." nothing happens,
like descibed in Bug 20780.
I don't talk about the situation when the network connection is broken down (Bug
223142), but about the situation when mozilla is swiched offline. (I'm using
mozilla in a LAN where internet is always available via a gateway) It should be
easy to confirm the bug.

I don't think that 223540 depends on 223142 because mozillas reaction is different.

207800 may be a dupe of 223540.

Sorry for confuseing a bug number. When selecting "save as..." nothing happens,
like descibed in Bug 207800.
Are there any errors in the JS console when this happens? Clear the console,
then try to save.... What are your cache settings?

The error occours every time and on every page, including pages without any JS ,
Java and so on. It occours on every mozilla session including on a fresh booted
I repeat: I do not mean that the internet conection is lost but the browser is
simply swiched to offline mode after loading a page. After swiching back to
online mode everything seem to work fine again.
My cache settings are unchanged defaults, 50 MB, comparing once per session. But
a change of this settings don't take a effect to this behaivior.
I'dont understand the reason for the questions. There are any difficults in
confirming the bug (, if it's a bug) ?
Yes, there are difficulties confirming the bug. When I follow your steps to
reproduce I either get a save dialog (for "save page as"/"save image as"), or an
error alert saying the page is not available (for "save link as" if I've not
loaded the link before). The reason for the question about the JS console is
that a lot of the "save as" code is implemented in JavaScript in Mozilla itself,
and an exception in that code may show up in the JS console (assuming nothing
catches it, of course).

I've just created a new mozilla account. And now I can't reproduce the error too.

The old account was converted many times with every new relaise of mozilla. It
may converted from a netscape rev. 4.7 to mozilla 1.2.
Today I have lost all my data in my Windows User settings. I think due to a
Windows problem. The mozilla preferences are affected too so I can't compare the
old and new preferences.

I think, we should close the Bug unless nobody else can reproduce the behaivior.
Please do reopen if you can reproduce....
