Details

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start browser. Make sure your default home page is set to something other
than the default Mozilla.org product page.
2. Open a new browser window.
3. Choose from menubar, Go->Home.

Expected results:
Browser opens the default home page you selected.

Actual results:
Browser goes to Firebird product page on Mozilla.org.

The homepage pref is just an example here. You can also set your
browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick pref to FALSE, so that middleclick opens a
new window. However, middleclicking a link from the new window will cause that
link to open in a tab.

This is with the 20031024 build of Firebird. Yesterday's nightly (20031023)
doesn't have this problem, and today's nightly of the full Mozilla browser also
doesn't have this problem.
Still occurs on build 20031025.
works for me on WinXP

please try a clean profile without any added extensions and retry
This seems to be fixed on build 20031026, so it may be, as I was thinking,
related to bug 223611.

Oops. Mike Conner, I'm not using any extensions. And although I didn't try a
clean profile, the fact that the bug seems fixed now suggests it's not a profile
issue.
