User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 The page is loaded again and again, without anything being displayed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://www.tiji.tv Actual Results: Infinite loop. Expected Results: Page loads normally Same behaviour with Firebird 0.6.1 The homepage seems to be a php which should load a Flash animation...
I think this is a problem with the site, not with Mozilla, and I'm not sure where to begin looking for the error in the site's code. Recommend INVALID.
> and I'm not sure where to begin looking for the error in the site's code. Then why do you think it's a problem with the site? Reporter, what are your cookie settings? The page worksforme with linux trunk build 2003-10-24-05...
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031024 looping if Javascript is enabled. All JS on, Cookies Originating Server only, Sesssion only, popups unblocked, images all allowed. Disabling JS stopped the reload, site was rendered ok, as seen in Opera 7.20 identified as Opera and later on as Mozilla. I suspect the culprit is in here, but I´m not fit enough in JS: They are checking for Netscape, and Version>3, and Netscape 4.79 works fine. http://www.tiji.tv/scripts/popup.js (script from April 1997) Mozilla doesn´t get a stylesheet, but is it needed on a flash-only website? http://www.tiji.tv/scripts/css.js the first one: http://www.tiji.tv/scripts/base.js Only 4 lines of script on the page: var random_number="bust="+(Math.round(Math.random()*10000000000)); document.write ('<IFRAME SRC="http://pubs.mgn.net/html.ng/site=tiji&cat=homepage&size=234x60&'+random_number+'" WIDTH="234" HEIGHT="60" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" FRAMEBORDER="0" SCROLLING="no" BORDERCOLOR="#000000">'); document.write ('<SCR' +'IPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.1" SRC="http://pubs.mgn.net/js.ng/Params.richmedia=yes&site=tiji&cat=homepage&size=234x60&'+random_number+'"></SCR' + 'IPT>'); document.write ('</IFRAME>');
My cookie settings are "Enable All". If it's a website design flaw, I am voluteering to evangelize (in French), but I find it strange that it works under Linux. Moreover, I would like to understand first why this behaviour happens to explain them how to correct the flaw, if any.
