User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 I use tiki so i expected this bug would be reported but could not find it. Also it is not fixed with the new version 0.7!! In my css there is al lot of margin-right's this makes the content to be moved to the right. I need to sroll to find the content. I now removed the margin-right parts and it is a bit better now only one column is moved to the right. After a refresh the page is displayed proparly (mostly). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to www.ijbrug.nl (i removed the problem so you need to login) 2.login as login: mozilla passw: showbug 3. i hope it will show because it depends. it only happens when the browsers is not refreshed on such a problem Actual Results: the secend and third column's are moved to the right. Expected Results: column's should be on screen under the top bar.
Can you make a reduced test case of the problem?
For that matter, can you reproduce it in current nightly builds? I can't seem to...
i tried it with the latest build 'Mozilla 1.6b Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031123' and it still happens this time i looked at www.tikiwiki.org which has the problem too. at www.ijbrug.nl it also happens sometime you need to klick some links first it does not always happen but very often.
I don't see any right margins offhand on www.tikiwiki.org -- that seems to be a purely tables issue...
can i send you a screen shot??
ill send the corresponding view with IE
Attached image same page in IE6
compare this to the mozilla page...
ok so it seems fixed with the latest build i will try it again with a final build. here is the corresponding tikiwiki bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/? group_id=64258&atid=506846&func=detail&aid=628740
i checked it with 1.6b and in that one the problem is still there... but the good news is: in the latest build the problem is gone. some times you can see the right column is still put to the right but when the page is fully loaded it gets pushed to the left so in the end all is fine :) <off topic> i will add a comment to the tikiwiki bug telling it is fixed in the latest build. i hope the latest build will be out soon... good work! i will continu advertising firebird (wich resultet in a 30% share of mozilla of my visitors!! http://www.nedstatbasic.net/s?tab=1&link=5&id=2562609)
