User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031027 Firebird/0.7+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031027 Firebird/0.7+

When you drag a message from an open mailbox to a collapsed folder and the
folder expands, the folder should re-collapse (i.e. return to original state)
when the drop operation is completed. As of 20031026, the expanded folder (and
any subfolders that were expanded) remmins expanded.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drag message from Inbox and hover over a collapsed folder
2. Folder expands after a second; hover dragged message over a mailbox within
expanded folder
3. Release mouse button to drop message into mailbox

Actual Results:
Message gets transferred to mailbox but the tree of expanded folders does not
re-collapse

Expected Results:
The folders should return to their original state (i.e. remain expanded if they
were expanded; re-colapse if they had been collapsed).

I've noticed this myself, and would actually consider its severity as more than
"minor". It shouldn't be hard to fix, and should definately be fixed. How to
other applications/UIs act in this sense?

in
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3pre) Gecko/20090123 Shredder/3.0b2pre (and - at least - in the previous built, too)
the behavior described in bug 117954 is not supported (any more).

has this happened on purpose?
