Outlook Express has this option under the "View" then "Layout..." option from the Menu bar. This should add an extra degree of security against viruses. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open mail program 2. 3. Actual Results: Preview pane is active Expected Results: Allow users the option of having the preview pane shown or not.
Pat: click View >> Show/Hide >> Message Pane If that doesn't do what you want, and this bug needs to be re-opened, please e-mail me. - changing summary to be more descriptive - marking worksforme
