It would be nice if you can have it set in preferences where you can have the
Preview Pane not shown.  Outlook Express has this option under the "View" then
"Layout..." option from the Menu bar.  This should add an extra degree of
security against viruses.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open mail program
2.

Actual Results:  
Preview pane is active

Expected Results:  
Allow users the option of having the preview pane shown or not.

After conversation with the reporter, I learned the message pane would open, but
wouldn't stay open.
