User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Certain pages from ESPN (example: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1650890 ) cause Mozilla 1.5 to hang. I did not notice this is 1.4.x. It works fine in IE, and the ESPN home page ( http://www.espn.com ) does not hang, either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to various ESPN pages, such as http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1650890 Actual Results: Mozilla froze. I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it. Expected Results: Displayed the page correctly, without hanging.
wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031028 Shockwave Flash 7.0 r14 was looking like a dupe of bug 210334, but that one ws a dupe of bug 210119, fixed on trunk 2003-06-22 22:53, but your Mozilla is from 2003-10-07. Is this bug reproducable, i.e. do you always get a hang when going to http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1650890 I´ve seen bugs like this, buggy, if a flash ad was shown, and working, if a gif was shown, so maybe it depends on a certain ad, or a certain plugin. Which version of flash is installed? (Help->About Plug-ins)?

Re: Hermann Schwab 2003-10-31 16:47 Yes, Mozilla does always hang on that ESPN page, plus a couple others that I can't recall. I have the latest version of Flash, v7.0.14.
WFM on WinXP trunk 2003102804.
WFM 1.5 on XP = tester's platform. Casey: no it doesn't, or me, Hermann and Vidar are wrong.
