I hold my email since years in a folder tree "Archiv"
All mails here are marked read.
Sometimes lot of these mail is marked "not read" again.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Expected Results:  
Mails should not change their status.

Your bug could be a duplicate of bug 196750, bug 194433, bug 195787 and some
more could be added.

Just try mail read unread in query box on http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

So, your bug is a duplicate of which one ?

Frederic: Bug 194433 is classified. Do not expect the reporter to be able to
decide if his problem is a duplicate of a bug he is not authorized to see.

Neither am I, BTW.
