Mozilla causes problems with Win98 task bar

Details
To witness the problem, start Mozilla (I'm using the 21 Dec 1999 commercial
build). Then, resize your Windows task bar (you get sizing arrows if you
position the mouse right at the edge). I think you might also be able to
produce the strange behavior by moving the task bar to another edge of your
desktop.
After resizing/moving the task bar, none of its icons redisplay. You can see
the Start button but no other icons in the start bar. Worse, the task bar will
be completely inoperative. The Start button doesn't work (nor does the special
"Start button key"). You can't resize it. Right mouse clicking doesn't work.
If you close Mozilla at this point, everything is fine.
The problem did not appear on my WinNT system (debug build of approximately the
same vintage).
I tried to duplicate this bug on my system without any success. Resized and
moved to my heart's content with no ill affects. Running Win98se and Mozilla
