User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 I have six mail accounts defined. (Four are actual POPmail accounts, two are dummy accounts to allow me to send mail "from" forwarding accounts.) When I try to add an additional account, I get an error saying that an account already exists with that username and mail server. I have checked over my existing accounts; there are some which use the same username as my new account, but different mail servers; and there is one which uses the same mail server, but a different username. NONE of them use the same username/mail server combination. This only happens with one specific username/mail server combination; I can't replicate the problem with other usernames and servers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: I get an error saying "An account with that user name and server name already exists. Please enter a different user name and/or server name." Expected Results: Allow the creation of the new account! If there is a conflict, it should tell me WHICH mail account has the same settings, to make it easier to figure out what is going on.
Found several additional folders under my .../Application Data/Profiles/.../Mail folder; these may have been left over from previous attempts at creating accounts. Several were empty or contained only empty mailbox files. Deleted these, restarted Mozilla, and was able to create the new account.
